Salthouse Terms and Conditions of Hire

By proceeding with a booking, and using Salthouse Studio’s space you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Salthouse studio reserves the right to review and amend any of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page. Any changes to these Terms of Service will take effect immediately from the date of publication.

These Terms of Service were last updated on 07 May 2025.

1. Bookings & Payment

• Full payment is required to secure your booking.

• All bookings are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice (subject to availability).

• No-shows or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the booking fee.

2. Access & Use of the Studio

• You may access the studio only for the duration of your booked time slot.

• You are responsible for setting up and packing down within your booking window.

• All studio lighting and equipment is included in your booking and must be used with care.

3. Respect for the Space

• Please treat the studio and equipment with respect.

• All rubbish must be placed in the bins provided.

• All furniture, props, and gear should be returned to their original positions.

• All lights must be turned off before you leave the premises.

• No smoking, vaping, or illegal substances are permitted on site.

• Drinks in the studio fridge are complimentary

4. Damage, Liability & Insurance

• Any damage to the studio, its contents, or equipment must be reported immediately and may incur repair or replacement costs.

• Salthouse Studio is not liable for;

• Any personal injury occurring on the premises (unless caused by our negligence).

• Loss, theft, or damage to your personal belongings.

• Clients are encouraged to hold their own public liability insurance, especially for commercial or group shoots.

5. Studio Etiquette & Behaviour

• You are responsible for the conduct and safety of all persons you bring into the space.

• Any inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour toward staff, guests, or the studio space will result in immediate termination of your session without refund.

6. Content & Privacy

• You retain full rights to the content you create in the studio.

• We may request permission to repost or share your images (with credit), but we will never do so without your consent.

7. Health Compliance

• Please do not attend the studio if you are unwell.

• Salthouse Studio follows relevant public health guidelines and expects all clients to do the same.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the Australian laws and any disputes will be handled within the appropriate jurisdiction.
